Sashiko Cotton Jacket

Blue Blue Japan’s pieces are a fine example of <i>mingei</i>, or ‘folk craft’ – they’re everyday objects, made using natural materials and traditional techniques. Modelled on workwear coveralls, this jacket is made from pure cotton that’s dyed with natural indigo and covered in <i>sashiko</i> stitching. The patch pockets add to its utilitarian look and feel.
