IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN’s ‘Pilot’s’ chronograph is named, in large part, for the classic 1940s models that served members of the Royal Air Force. You can spot the similarities in the distinctive triangular index and clean Arabic numerals, but it’s not without a refresh thanks to the robust calibre 69385 adapted by the Swiss house to power not only hands, but three seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour subdials.
