After rediscovering a vintage edition of the House’s ‘St. Moritz’ sports watch, three generations of the Scheufele family worked together to design Chopard’s ‘Alpine Eagle’ timepiece. The result is beautifully personal and incorporates shared memories of observing rare birds of prey swooping across the Swiss workshop’s mountainous backdrop. This ‘XL’ iteration is centered by a sunburst dial mimicking an eagle’s eye and has a second hand that’s fluted like a feather, whilst the crown is engraved with a compass rose, and ingot-shaped links across the bracelet recall a mountain range. It’s encased in robust Lucent steel – an alloy that boasts 50% greater strength and unique luminosity and houses a chronograph movement with a flyback function.<br><br><i>For warranty information, please refer to details & care</i>
