Using the principles of the Boyle-Mariotte Law, the patented system allows water through a hole in the sapphire crystal at the 12 o’clock mark and into a channel around the outer edge to create a watermark that corresponds with the yellow-hued gauge. It’s powered by an automatic movement with a 36-hour power reserve and has an impressive water resistance of 50 bar.
