In 1904 Louis Cartier created the iconic Santos de Cartier watch so that his friend, the Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont, would be able to effortlessly tell the time whilst flying. Powered by a calibre 1847 MC automatic movement, this large model has a 47.5mm stainless steel case and handsome black dial complete with classic Roman numerals and a date window. The bracelet is equipped with the ‘SmartLink’ adjustment system while the ‘Quickswitch’ construction allows you to easily swap it out for the additional alligator strap.<br><br><i>For warranty information, please refer to details & care</i>
